Precious Pooches is run by Vivienne & Graham Nelson; avid doggy lovers and the owners of three pooches. Introducing their furbabies:

Nordes, our big fluffy loveable SamHusky. Nordes is 9 years old and presides over the house and pack like a big brother should. He is the most gentlest of giants and has never shown any aggression to any other dog or human. Sadly he now has arthritis in one of his back legs, so has monthly Librella injections to ensure continued movement, and recently diagnosed with diabetes - so on a strict regime of insulin, food & walks. He does play in the garden with our other two dogs, and any other dogs that are here as guests, but his batteries run low quite quickly. Nordes is castrated.

Then we have Daisy and Dooffer, our two juvenile schnauzers. They are 100% potty and play play play all day. The doors to our garden are usually open all day, so access to let off steam is always available. Daisy is a diva – and knows it. Dooffer is a loveable soul. They are very excitable when meeting new humans or doggies, so we are mindful their introductions need careful handling. But, after 5 minutes, calm prevails and respect is shown. They are both spayed/castrated.

Precious Pooches has a licence for seven dogs, inc our own three. It is our desire to never have more than two overnight boarding dogs at a time, unless we are looking after more from the same household. Having a licence for seven gives us some flexibility on hand-over days to accommodation late collections, flight delays etc. 

We take the care and wellbeing of your furbabies very seriously. We offer a Home Boarding and Day Care Service which means your doggies will live and sleep in our home for the duration of their stay and be treated as one of our family. Your dog’s needs are paramount to us. Dogs are supervised at all times except at night when they will sleep in their designated dog room.
